Melbourne in lockdown until 11:59pm 2 September. 9pm curfew is now in place.

The Victorian Government has extended the current Melbourne lockdown until 11:59pm on Thursday 2 September and instituted a 9pm curfew.

This means that for Melbourne, there will still be only five reasons to leave home:

1. shopping for food and supplies
2. authorised work and study (with permit)
3. care and caregiving
4. exercise
5. getting vaccinated.

OC Connections will continue to follow these directives and operate under a restricted model, providing essential support on-site to participants who cannot be supported at home, or who are a family member of an essential worker.

OCC Enterprises will continue to operate a skeleton staff. Day Support will operate for essential services only, whilst the day support hubs, Short Term Accommodation and in-home support will not operate during this time unless for essential services. Our Community Living homes will not receive visitors and residents will be supported in day activities as required.

Families of OCC participants who need urgent assistance in supporting their family members during this time, please contact our Day Support team on 9569 0603.

These continual changes and extended lockdowns create uncertainty and challenges for all of our community. We encourage you to seek help and support when needed.
