OC Connections welcomes the important work of the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.
Like all members of our community, people with disability have the right to live free of violence, abuse, neglect or exploitation. As a dedicated NDIS provider, OC Connections promotes human rights and has a zero-tolerance approach to violence, abuse, neglect or exploitation.
We firmly believe that all Australians should have confidence in the quality and safety of supports that are provided to people with disability. Any behaviours or practices that abuse, neglect or exploit people with disability are unacceptable.
In this spirit, we will engage with participants, their family, the sector and Royal Commission. We will listen to what has gone wrong and we will actively contribute to discussions on how to ensure disability supports are of the highest possible quality.
We will continue to update this page as more information on the outcomes from the Royal Commission are published.
The Final Report of the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability has been released. The research findings, collected through
