Playing sport offers a great way to learn about working as a team, organisational skills, leadership and positive team spirit. By participating and contributing, participants develop confidence and increase their knowledge of the sport.

Through our partnership with local lawn bowls clubs, volunteers are on hand to teach participants how to play either outdoor lawn bowls or indoor carpet bowls (depending on the weather).

Equipment is provided to collect and lift the bowls safely, while participants are encouraged to understand the sport’s finer details, like how to hold the bowling ball, measuring distances between the jack and bowl and team leadership.
