Testimonials

Hear from all of our supporters and many others.

Crayola Australia has been using the services of OCCE for packing and assembly of various items since July 2011. Since the very beginning the quality of the work has been exceptional and our partnership has grown significantly. We would highly recommend their services without question, the processing of our requirements is at times complication but OCCE manage this with a minimum of fuss, keeping the standard very high and meeting time frames. We have open dialogue and clear communications at all levels which makes for a successful B2B relationship.

Crayola

Red Tomato has been working with OCCE for the past 5 years. The OCCE team has provided a fantastic service in packing out an annual event that we are involved in. It’s fantastic to be supporting such a worthy organisation. I can thoroughly recommend their services.

Justin MD at Red Tomato

The team are incredibly reliable, delivering on time with quality results. We like the personal approach they take with all their work, never compromising accuracy and consistency no matter how small or large the job at hand is. We look forward to continuing our great working relationship in the future.

Monique Lill, Conference Manager

OCCE provide a very cost effective service, it means that we don’t have the worry of managing extra staff & since they do work for so many different companies, every job has a very clear work schedule. I would have no hesitation in recommending any company to consider their services as they are a strongly managed business with clear corporate and ethical values.

How to provide employment for people with a disability

The great thing about providing employment for people with a disability is there are a number of ways you can do this; the benefits are many and it’s easier than you may think.

Here’s two ways you can do it.

  1. Employ a person with a disability

At no cost to your organisation, if you employ a person with a disability who is a participant in the NDIS, supports in employment can be provided for people with a disability working in open employment at businesses just like yours.
Theses supports are funded from the employees NDIS plan and are provided by the employee’s service provider of choice. This is an agreement that is managed between the employee and the service provider.

2. Buy goods or services from a social enterprise or Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) that employee’s people with a disability

That’s right, it’s as easy as buying the goods or services you ordinarily procure for your business from a Social Traders certified social enterprise that employee’s people with disability or from a registered Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE).

When you do this, you are unlocking social value by simply diverting your procurement spend to one of these organisation. This provides benefits to your organisation, work for a person with a disability and the social and economic value that comes from providing meaningful and sustainable employment to people with a disability.
