Car Washing

Program objective

This is the perfect opportunity to learn skills for future employment.

OC Connections’ mobile car wash is a community enterprise run by the organisation’s supported employment division, OC Connections Enterprises. A selected car wash crew visits local businesses to provide a thorough and high quality clean to customer specifications.

Crew members are responsible for cleaning all areas of the car, polishing, wiping, vacuuming, rinsing, cleaning tyres, washing windows, sponging, drying etc.. Participants also have direct contact customers, handing their keys back to them and asking them to take part in Customer Feedback Survey.

Team work is strongly encouraged and it is a great activity for building and fostering strong relationships while keeping fit and healthy.
