Footy finals fever at OCCE

It was footy mania at the OC Connections Enterprises (OCCE) Annual Grand Final Lunch held the Thursday before the AFL Grand Final.

Steve Betinsky, GM Employment and Enterprises, Employee Support Officer, Donna Hogan and other OCCE staff were excited to put on the footy finals lunch again in 2019.

To kick off the finals celebration, an enthusiastic group of Supported Employees gathered at OCCE’s Oakleigh South lunch room that had been transformed with team colours of the Tigers and Giants.  Some impressive footy garb and even a wig were donned by Supported Employees and OCCE staff.

It has always been a part of the OCCE tradition to have a footy lunch, to wear your football colours and have a bit of fun. We try and mix it up each year.  Last year it was hotdogs, this year we are having pies and sausage rolls.

OCCE Supported Employee Sandra and staff served up a traditional footy lunch to the hungry footy fanatics and casual supports alike.

Even with an obvious allegiance to the yellow and black, it was great to see everyone come together as one happy group to simply…celebrate Australian footy.
