Dinner Dance 2024

Lights twinkled, cameras flashed, and the stars aligned for a spectacular evening at Merrimu Receptions on Friday, 2 May 2024. Our Hollywood-themed dinner dance event was an unforgettable journey into the glitz and glamour of Tinseltown, where guests stepped into the spotlight and danced the night away.

From the moment guests arrived, the excitement was palpable. As attendees made their grand entrance, dressed to the nines in Hollywood style glamour or as iconic characters from their favourite films, the atmosphere buzzed with anticipation.

Inside, the venue was transformed into a scene straight out of the Oscars! Shimmering curtains, and golden accents created an ambiance of old-world charm and movie magic. The photobooth, a star attraction of the evening, whisked guests away to the Hollywood Hills, the Oscars stage, and red carpets, capturing timeless memories against a backdrop of glamour and glitz.

But the real highlight of the evening? The dance floor, where DJ Flash Gordon stole the show with his infectious beats and crowd-pleasing tunes. From classic hits to modern favourites, DJ Flash Gordon kept the party going, spinning all the crowd favourites and getting everyone moving.

Of course, no Hollywood party would be complete without a sumptuous feast, and our two-course meal did not disappoint.

Lucky raffle prize winners were announced, each taking home hampers filled with goodies to share with friends and family.
