Congratulations to OC Connections Enterprises (OCCE) supported employees Christine and Basil who were married at the Matthew Flinders Hotel in November, surrounded by family and friends.
Christine and Basil met at an OC Connections disco and have been together now for 34 years. They have worked at OCCE for more than 20 years so it was important to them that their work colleagues play a significant role in planning their wedding.
Donna and Lily helped to locate a celebrant and support them through the wedding planning process. Donna also helped Christine to get ready on the day, assisting with hair, make up and all the trimmings. Clinton ensured that tradition was upheld by having Basil at his house the night before the wedding. Athena and Clinton were delighted to be witnesses at the ceremony.
“The wedding day was lovely and a great time was had by all”.
Donna, Employee Support Officer, OC Connections Enterprises
We hear that the newlyweds topped it all off with a wonderful honeymoon at Phillip Island, Inverloch and Bairnsdale.
Basil and Christine would like to thank Athena, Lily, Clinton and Donna for all their help.
OC Connections wish Basil and Christine much happiness in their new life together.
