As you may know, the NDIS will review your Plan every 12 or 24 months, or earlier if there is a significant change in your circumstances and you have made a request for a review. OC Connections is committed to helping you ensure that you are ready for your next review meeting.
At our recent Family Focus Forum, Donna Shaw, an expert speaker from Victorian Advocacy League for Individuals with Disability (VALID), talked to a crowd of 30 family members about effective ways to prepare for their next NDIS review meeting in order to achieve the best outcomes for the individual they are supporting.
We also heard from Deb McLachlan, OCC’s Support Coordinator, who launched our new NDIS Plan Review Guide to assist families in preparing for their NDIS meeting. You can download the free guide here.
The forum closed with presentations from two OC Connections family members sharing their own personal experiences to an inquisitive audience and the panel answered a variety of questions.
