The Australian Government’s new Disability Gateway has information and services to help people with disability, their family, friends and carers, to find the support they need in Australia.
You can use the site to search for disability information and services and access information on income and finance; employment; aids and equipment; housing; transport; health and wellbeing; everyday living; education; leisure; discrimination and legal issues. There are also news and updates, emergency contacts, safety and help and COVID-19 updates for people with disability.
You can access the gateway via the website or phone 1800 643 787 Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm.
This is an important tool for all people who live with disability to access the right services and support.
