Some of our houses have been busy preparing for the Christmas period, decorating trees. It was lovely to then receive a donation of fresh trees from our supplier, Dandenong Christmas Tree Farm this week.
The farm is our usual supplier of trees for our Christmas Fundraiser. Unfortunately, with safety concerns around COVID, we have had to cancel our fundraiser both in 2020 and this year. However, we encourage our community to support those who have supported us, by buying their tree from the farm this year.
You can go online, or visit the farm in person, to select your tree. They welcome families and dogs to the farm and you can enjoy the fresh air while walking through the rows of trees – there’s some great photo opportunities to be had! If you haven’t already done so, you can find out more at www.dandenongchristmastreefarm.com.au.
We would like to thank Neil and Neale for their continued support of OC Connections and the generosity they have shown. The trees now have pride of place in our houses, to be enjoyed by residents and staff over this period.
