OC Connections participants and staff had the opportunity to test out a new bike initiative, The Brike Project.
Social Enterprise Brite has brought to market the Brike e-bikes, specifically designed for people living with disability and their families. The Brikes allow people on wheelchairs to experience the joy of being on a bike, with assistance from a rider in the back.
The team at Brite joined us for an afternoon so participants and staff could trial the bikes. From the look on Shirley’s face, it was an enjoyable experience.
