Hawaii came to OCC last month with the annual dinner dance. The 170 guests were greeted by a vibrant scene of coconut trees, lei’s, pineapples and beachscapes at Merrimu Receptions in Murrumbeena.
Participants and staff got into the spirit and dressed in the theme as well, with many of our female participants preparing what they were going to wear and how they wanted their hair in the weeks leading up to the event and booking a hairdresser to come the afternoon of the dance.
The three-course sit down event provided a chance for participants and staff to relax and unwind and enjoy the company of family and friends. The opportunity to win lucky door prizes filled the room with excitement and popular DJ, Flash Gordon, played the latest top 40 music which had everyone up on the dance floor.
Greg went shopping to purchase this wonderful loud shirt that could not have suited him better. Greg is always the life of the party and spent most of the evening on the dance floor.
Peter and Lorraine both enjoyed themselves very much and Lorraine was very proud to be Peter’s date.
Tanya and Craig clearly enjoyed each other’s company and were inseparable for most of the evening.
