Opportunities for Volunteers
OC Connections is fortunate to be supported by a large team of dedicated volunteers who provide valuable assistance to staff and participants. Our volunteers enhance our programs, activities and culture by using their skills and experience to provide opportunities for others.
We are grateful to our volunteers who give their time so generously to support our participants. While our volunteers come from all walks of life and perform different roles, there is a common purpose and understanding to their work – and that is to help make a difference to the lives of others.
OC Connections values the contributions of our volunteer partners who have organised and undertaken projects with the help of volunteers sourced through their company programs. These partners include:
- Share skills and experience
- Develop new skills
- Meet new people
- Have fun
- Support your community
- Try something different
- Stay involved and active
"It was one of the best days of my working career so far" Malua Kamu, Diversified Communications on volunteering at OCC Enteprises
"Helping families select their Christmas tree was a lot of fun and knowing that all the money raised was going to such an amazing organisation was humbling and rewarding." David Vicino, Managing Director, Sypaq
