Last month several students graduating from Burwood East Special Developmental School were given a guided tour of OCC Enterprises which proved to be entertaining and educational for all. We thoroughly enjoyed showing ten enthusiastic school leavers around the premises as we chatted about the various pathways to employment and opportunities available at OCCE.
Some of the students were interested in the carwash enterprise while others saw themselves working in packaging or administration. Questions were asked about the kind of work we do and enquiries about post-school availability. I’m sure we’ll hear more from the students in the near future.
We’d like to thanks Sophie and the team from Burwood East SDS for making the effort to come and visit us and welcome any or all of you back again soon.
