Families as Planning Partners Course
This course is designed to assist parents/families of people with disability to get updated on the many changes in the disability services area.
It will also assist them to get ready for transition to the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) through:
- Planning – for now & the future
- How the NDIS Individual funding & support could work for them

Session 1. NDIS introduction & the Family’s role
– an introduction to the what, how and who gets the NDIS
– what is the family’s role in light of the NDIS?

Session 3. NDIS Planning & Why have a Person-centred Plan

Session 5. Consolidating your plan!
*Attendees are asked to commit to attending the whole course. Attending one or two sessionsis not an option. However, specific topic Information Sessions are also available on
