As part of its community-based employment options, OC Connections Enterprises offers a mobile car wash service to government and private businesses across greater metropolitan Melbourne. Supported employees enjoy working outdoors in a team environment based at the customers’ business premises. Supported employees have options to work exclusively in Car Wash or part-time as a work experience option across our enterprises.
Our Car Wash service operates on site of each of our customer’s premises. The current OCCE car wash sites include Victoria Police (9 stations from South Melbourne to Chelsea), Mordialloc Freeway Project, Baptcare (Sunshine), Melbourne’s Cheapest Cars, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Education, City of Casey and the City of Kingston.
All cleaning products are environmentally friendly and bio-degradable. All employees are trained in our innovative cleaning system to ensure all vehicles are finished with a streak-free result with no risk of damage or scratches.
Employees have the choice to drive to their allocated car wash site, or meet the team at the OCCE base in South Oakleigh before heading to the site in one of our work buses.
