As a Supported Employee in our Car Wash team you will be trained in our innovative, environmentally friendly cleaning system, while learning to work in a team, take direction, and work together with employees from our client companies.
Our Car Wash Service operates on site of each of our customer’s premises. Our clients include government, commercial and community service businesses, so our Supported Employment have the opportunity to engage with a wide variety of people and professions and in a variety of work environments.
In addition to being trained in our cleaning system and learning to work in a team, take direction, those employees who hold a Victorian Drivers License may also be delegated as a driver between our OCCE main office and car wash site, building responsibility, confidence and leadership skills.
As in all of our Supported Employment opportunities, employees have the opportunity to apply for leadership roles, where they will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of a team of their peers, further developing their team building, communications and leadership skills.
The current OCCE car wash sites include Victoria Police (9 stations from South Melbourne to Chelsea), Mordialloc Freeway Project, Baptcare (Sunshine), Melbourne’s Cheapest Cars, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Education, City of Casey and the City of Kingston.
