OC Connections provides services to more than 300 adults in the areas of employment, community living, and day supports. The role:

We are looking for a dynamic individual whose experience includes publication management both in print and social media, with demonstrated high level written and verbal skills to help execute our Communication and Marketing strategies.

This role focusses on stakeholder engagement, event promotion and management, content generation and distribution, lead acquisition and nurturing and campaign reporting. It is an opportunity for someone with communications or marketing experience to make a difference in the NFP Disability Sector.

You will need

  • Understanding and respect for people with a disability
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement
  • To be highly organised with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • To be proactive and confident making recommendations and problem solving
  • A proven ability to work in teams and autonomously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills which are able to be applied across various media and audiences
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines

You will preferably have a fundamental technical understanding of and experience with most or all of these:

  • Event promotion and management
  • WordPress CMS Websites
  • Adobe Suite – Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Email Marketing
  • Copywriting and editing
  • Photography and Video production
  • Social Media channel management and social media campaigns
  • CRM data management

And some knowledge of or skills in

  • lead generation and nurturing campaigns
  • campaign automation
  • SEO and paid search strategies
