OC Connections is a not-for-profit organisation. We rely on community support to supplement the many services and programs we provide to people, and their families. We are committed to services that enable all those with disabilities to live active lives with dignity and independence.
Money raised through our annual appeals and fundraising events goes towards vital services and programs not covered by government funding. Without this money, many participants simply wouldn’t have access to the necessary equipment or assistance that can make the world of difference to their quality of life.
There are a number of ways you can support OC Connections and our work within the community. All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.Donate online

Where the money will go
OC Connections wants to create as many possibilities as we can to bring dignity and independence to people with disability by providing them with access to supports that assists them to live independently and to actively engage in their communities.
In the past, money raised through donations has gone towards:
- Electrically adjustable beds to assist those who have difficulty getting in and out of bed
- Exercise bikes to help people exercise in the safety of their own home
- Computer touch screens for those with poor vision and/or hand-eye coordination to have access to a whole new world of visual experiences
- Personal wheelchairs to give greater independence and community access
We are currently raising money to:
1. Giving holiday options to all
Finding a holiday house that caters to people with disabilities isn’t easy. That’s why our Tootgarook Holiday House is so important. Based on the Mornington Peninsula, the house provides participants and their families with a place to go for a much-needed break. While the house has undergone a recent makeover, ongoing maintenance is required: like any home, it needs repainting, new furniture and upgraded assistive technology (like shower sensors). Your donation will help keep the house in tip-top condition, enabling families to enjoy a holiday break for years to come.
2. Keeping our busses on the road
We transport hundreds of people across Melbourne each day so they can participate in activities like bowling, delivering meals-on-wheels, listening to live music, or attending events, like the football. However, our buses require ongoing costly maintenance. Money raised through donations will help to keep them (and our participants!) on the road.
Your support is greatly appreciated! And just to show you how much, a few of our people got together to say ‘thank you’.
