2017 Golf Day at The Metropolitan.
Thanks to all who joined us for a fun day on June 25 at one of Melbourne’s most prestigious golf courses and helped raise much needed funds for OC Connections. The day included 18 holes Ambrose golf, BBQ lunch, on-course snacks and drinks, competitions, prizes and more.
Join us next year for the 2018 Annual Charity Golf Day
The day features:
- Morning or afternoon 18 hole Ambrose golf
- On Course drinks and snacks
- Fun competitions
- Buffet lunch in the club house
- Prizes for the winners.
Tickets are just $185 each ($700 for a team of four).
Held each year at Melbourne’s prestigious Metropolitan Golf Club, our charity golf day attracts support from corporate partners, business associates and the broader OC Connections’ community.
There are many ways to support our golf day:
- Register yourself or a team (Ambrose competition) to play
- Take advantage of OC Connections’ generous sponsorship opportunities
- Donate prizes for the raffle.
Our annual golf day is the organisation’s largest fundraiser and we rely on our wonderful community of supporters to make this day a success.
In 2017, we are raising money to buy assistive technology equipment to enable people to improve communications and develop and grow as individuals and in the broader community. Educational and development tools such as tablets and specialist software help make written information accessible for people who have literacy difficulties, improve meaningful participation and make communities more accessible for people with little or no speech.
Thanks to the following for your support this year!
"Last year I worked as a volunteer at the Metropolitan Golf Club for the OC Connections charity day. The day was a big success with many participating and enjoying playing on such a prestigious course.
As a volunteer I too enjoyed the day. It was great to see the golfers having so much fun and to see how well the event was organised. I felt that my contribution helped the organisation raise much needed funds to support people with a disability."
"Volunteering at the golf day was not only fun but also rewarding. Helping the organisation raise much needed funds was very satisfying. The golfers all seemed to enjoy the day and the Metropolitan is such a lovely golf course. Highlight of the day was the delicious buffet lunch."
