Our Art Program forms part of a large range of activities at OC Connections. Each artist works at their own pace, in their own style and in a light-filled creative workshop that encourages the artists to explore their individual expression.

Drawing inspiration from our art library or their imagination, artists discover the rich textures of a variety of media, including pencil, paint, pastel and mosaics to create a portfolio of work under the guidance of the OC Connections art coordinator, Val Rowe.

Celebrating the great pride and sense of accomplishment each artist feels in completing various works, many pieces are mounted, framed and displayed at exhibitions in the community and, if desired, offered for sale.

Profits made from the sale of artwork go directly to the artists.

You can see most of these works of art on show at our Mount Waverley Community Centre Art Exhibition until Thursday 17 February 2019 and at the Toot Artspace (5/17 Irwell St, St Kilda VIC 3182) from 18 February 2019.
